America is hit again by the oil prices. As a natural law of economy, a higher oil price leads to the increase in prices of goods and services. This is why should not be surprised why your sugar is much more expensive than it was at the beginning of the crisis when the gallon was not $4. The latest increase of prices generated by the oil price was that of airfares. AMR Corp.'s American Airlines followed by some of the nation's biggest airlines (UAL Corp.'s United Airlines and Delta Air Lines Inc.) increased the price in order to balance the 13 percent increase in oil prices reflected in the cost. This is the airline industry's seventeenth attempt to raise fares or fuel surcharges this year, but according to FareCompare.com (a site of searching and comparing airfares) said Continental Airlines rolled back the increase on Monday, thus there is hope for other airlines to do it too because the increases work only if even the competitors increase as well. Airlines have to pay with 77 percent more than what they paid until now for jet fuel and that is why they not only had to increase fares, but also to let go some of their staff. In addition, they added some new takes like that of $15 to check first bag. Is this sufficient to survive the oil surge? Is it fair for people to pay for it? Although we might be outraged by the decision, the important thing that we should keep in count is that everything is an economical law and we have to submit to it.

Lietadla sa zrazaju iba obcas. Viem, nie je to moc povzbudive, ale je to lepsie ako nic. V roku 1977 sa na rozjazdovej drahe zrazili dva Boeingy. Ked chcelo lietadlo spolocnosti KLM vzlietnut, narazilo do lietadla spolocnosti Pan American, ktore bolo na tej istej drahe. Lietadlo McDonnell Douglas vybuchlo kratko potom, ako vzlietlo z parizskeho letiska, v roku 1974.Podobnych nehod sa stalo v historii vela. Viem, vyzeraju strasne. V jeden okamih zomrie tolko ludi. Ale tieto nehody sa nestavaju kazdy den. Automobilove ano.

Der Erdölpreis steigt und die Fluglinien scheinen von allen Verkehrsmitteln am meisten betroffen zu werden, weil sie viele Bankrotte ankündigen. Um die neue Situation zu bewältigen und einen Ausstieg aus dem Geschäft zu verhindern, konzentrieren sich viele Fluglinien weder auf Fusionen noch auf steigende Flugpreise. Seit Anfang April stiegen die Flugpreise bis um 13 % bei 280 Linien an, aber Geschäftsführer der Delta Air Lines Inc. Richard Anderson sagte, in der aktuellen Situation müssten die Preise noch um 15 oder 20 mehr steigen. United Airlines ist eine Tochtergesellschaft der UAL Corporation und das zweitgrößte Frachtunternehmen in den US ( Stand July 2006 ). Ihre Sprecherin Robin Urbanski verkündigte am Donnerstag, dass die meisten binnenländischen Flugpreise um 3 bis 5 % erhöht würden, wobei sie die dritten in der Reihe innerhalb der letzten zwei Wochen sind. Trotzdem bemüht sich die Fluggesellschaft, eine ähnlich enge Situation wie 2006 (Februar) zu vermeiden, wenn sie durch ein Bankrott gefährdet wurde. Der Aktienmarkt verzeichnete viele Kursfälle, jedoch schaffte die United UAL Corp., den Aktienpreis auf 1,46 Dollar oder 10,5% zu steigern. Zurzeit ist es wirklich schwer mit der Realität der Höhe des Benzinpreises ( 120 Dollar pro Barrel ) zu kämpfen und die Aufmerksamkeit der Menschen zu behalten, wenn es um Flugreisen geht. Das einzige Problem ist, eine gemeinsame Basis zu finden und zwar schnell bevor die Passagierzahlen sinken und nötige Einnahmenverluste folgen.

Mexican Coast, especially around Zihuatanejo, the very famous and popular among the surfers, is getting more and more dangerous in recent time. There have been several shark attacks, what is quite unbelievable for this resort as there had never been any attacks of this kind. There were three attacks in one month, in which two people died.George Burgess, the expert of University of Florida, made a survey to realize what made sharks to behave in such an aggressive manner. He questioned people who witnessed the attacks. Burgess' International Shark File have stated that there are on average “only” 4 fatal attacks in the world within one year. However, this year seems to change the statistics. According to the marine biologist Chris Love, it is really hard to find the reason why the sharks became so dangerous. In addition to this, he explained that it had no sense so hunt them in order to prevent people and ensure them safety.However, it has been confirmed by the recent research by the International Shark File that the number of attacks is proportional to the number of increasing water sports like surfing. Hence, it is pointless to hunt the sharks because people will still more and more swim in the ocean. To make some safety precautions, the officials, appealed by environmentalists, agreed on posting the warning signs which would signalize the previous attacks.In spite of being informed about possible danger, there are expectations that people will go back to their boards and into the endangering waters. And more people in the water means automatically more fateful attacks.

Cependant, cette année semble d'avoir changer les statistiques. Selon Chris Love, un biologiste marin, il est vraiment difficile de trouver la raison pour laquelle les requins sont devenus si dangereux. En plus de ceci, il a expliqué qu'il n'y a eu aucun sens ainsi de chasser les requins afin d'empêcher les morts des personnes et leur assurer la sûreté. Cependant, il a été confirmé par la recherche récente par la Liste international de requin que le nombre d'attaques est proportionnel au nombre de sports de l'eau croissants comme la planche à voile. Par conséquence, il est improbable de chasser les requins parce que les gens néanmoins nageront de plus en plus dans l'océan. Pour faire quelques mesures de sécurité, les fonctionnaires, appelés par des écologistes, ont accepté de signaler les panneaux d'avertissement qui signaliseraient les attaques précédentes.Malgré d'être informé au sujet du danger possible, il y a des espérances que les gens montreront de nouveau à leurs planches et entreront dans les eaux mettantes en danger. Innerhalb eines Monats gab es drei Angriffe, bei denen zwei Menschen ums Leben kamen.George Burgess, ein Experte aus der Universität von Florida, arbeitete eine Studie aus, um festzustellen, warum sich die Haie so aggressiv verhalten. Er befragte die Leute, die Zeugen der Attacken gewesen waren. Burgess´ International Shark File verkündigte, dass es jährlich im Durchschnitt "nur" 4 Attacken mit Todesfolgen gebe. The annual Art Basel fair who will be held on Wednesday in Switzerland offer us the possibility to feast our eyes with all the beauties in contemporary paintings, drawings, sculpture, performances, installations and video art. It is a proof that globalization is spreading its tentacles to all fields including art. Only the financial crisis is shadowing the long awaited event. As always art has been booming even in times of crisis and people are willing to invest a great deal of money into it. In consequence, at the fair there are expected to be made transactions of millions of dollars and more than 60000 people attending it. 300 top galleries will present works of over 2000 artists from all over the world revealing the latest trends in the world. Francis Bacon (the author of the most expensive contemporary work of art), Murakami Takashi, Robert Rauschenberg and Tom Wesselman are just some names on the list with greatest artist to be present there. Being such an important fair with works that worth millions of dollars, there is absolutely necessary for insurance companies to be present, especially in the context of the robbery that took place in February at a Zurich Museum. Fortunately the works of Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh stolen returned to the museum after two days, but those of Paul Cezanne and Edgar Degas haven't been found up to now. I think it is impressing to attend to such an event, but the question remaining is whether I have the money to even set foot in the perimeters of it. Fiind un atat de important targ cu opera valorand milioane de dolari trebuia sa fie si o firma de asigurari mai ales in conteztul jafului care a avut loc in luna Februarie la un muzeu din Zurich. Din fericire, operele lui Claude Monet si Vincent van Gogh care au fost furate au fost gasite la cateva zile dupa jaf, insa Paul Cezanne si Edgar Degas nu au fost gasite pana in prezent. Ar fi foarte interesant de vazut targu dar ma intreb daca am bani si sa pun macar piciorul in perimetrul cladirii. Haideti mai bine sa vedem ce au cumparat cei care au bani si cat au cheltuit. Como el arte experimenta siempre un "boom", incluso en los tiempos de crisis, la gente esta dispuesta a invertir mucho dinero en el. Se espera, que en la feria llegaran mas que 60.000 persnas y las transacciones se estiman a millones. Las obras de mas de 2000 artistas presentaran 300 galerias con mas prestigio. Francis Bacon (sus obras contemporaneas pertenecen entre las mas costosas), Murakami Takashi, Roberto Rauschenberg y Tom Wesselman son solo algunos nombres de la lista de los artistas mas grandes presentados alli. Siendo una feria tan importante, con los trabajos evaluados a millones de dolares, la presencia de las companias de seguros es imprescindible, especialmente en el contexto del robo del Museo de Zurich en el febrero. Afortunadamente las obras de Claude Monet y Vincent van Gogh volvieron al museo poco dias despues del crimen, pero los de Paul Cezanne y Edgar Degas todavia no habian sido encontrados. Yo pienso que es impresionante atender a tal acontecimiento, pero la pregunta es si tengo dinero suficiente para meter mi pie en sus perimetros. Mejor sera observar como se desarrollara y que pintura se vendera en que precio. No se aleje, mas informacion esta en camino...

En conséquence, des transactions des millions de dollars sont prévues pour être faits à la foire et de plus de 60000 personnes viennent visiter. 300 galeries supérieures présenteront des travaux de plus de 2000 artistes partout dans le monde pour démontrer les tendances les plus récentes au monde. Francis Bacon (l'auteur de l'oeuvre d'art contemporaine la plus chère), Murakami Takashi, Robert Rauschenberg et Tom Wesselman, ce ne sont que quelques noms figurants sur la liste des plus grands artistes qui y participeront. Étant une foire si importante avec des travaux qui ont la valeur des millions de dollars, il est absolument nécessaire pour que les compagnies d'assurance soient présentes, particulièrement sous prétexte du vol qui a eu lieu en février au Musée de Zurich. Heureusement les travaux de Claude Monet et de Vincent van Gogh volés sont revenus au Musée deux jours après, mais ceux de Paul Cezanne et d'Edgar Degas n'ont pas été rétrouvés jusqu'ici. Je pense qu'il est impressionnant pour s'occuper d'un tel événement, mais la question restante est si j'ai assez de l'argent pour placer au moins un pied dans les périmètres de ça. Permettez-nous de mieux voir comment ça se passera et quelle peinture sera vendue et à quel prix. Ne partent pas, plus à venir!
