The good deal
by Tatiana Hadarova
With the new possibility of cheap flying, which has been introduced to Slovakia by the low-cost flying companies as Sky Europe or RyanAir, opens to Slovak people another door to discover. Traveling is simply great, but what can be even better is traveling almost for free. I think that lot of people have learned during the recent years how and more importantly -when to buy the cheapest fly ticket. Almost every flying company, even the big ones, offer different kinds of specials to attract their potentional buyers, so if you are lucky and you know when to check the right web pages, you can make a very good deal and travel around the world for a penny. But let's get back to Slovakia. Thanks to these low-cost flying companies possibility to fly got closer to almost everyone. Flying around Europe now costs the same amount as the bus ticket (or sometimes it is even cheaper) and it is more comfortable and faster. We can see that this possibility is used by all kinds of slovak people. Students can get cheaply to countries where they plan to spend their working holidays, people can visit their friends and relatives or just to go on a week-end trip. In this last mentioned thing I see the biggest contribution of low-cost flying. Now I observe that more and more people from young generation use this chance and they discover new countries and cultures, so fortunately, the slovak stereotyp is changing to a better level. And why not? Isn't it just perfect to spend 2 days in the middle of winter at He carneval in Venice or to go for Easter to Paris? Traveling broadens the mind so let's just be online at the right time.
