Game called U.S. elections
by Martina Harvanova
New York, Illinois, Arizona, Massachusetts. U.S. states that offered their candidates to the most prestigious game. Game with the headline: Who is going to be an American president? First two of them are fellows as well as rivals. Both influencing the Democrats and on the other hand fighting against each other in primary elections. Second mentioned couple is related by its preference to Republicans, but the struggle for the president chair separates them. Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John McCain, Mitt Romney. One of these most successful senators (governors) will supposedly become the strongest person with huge influence on the Earth. American elections differ from others, for instance in Europe. Candidates are required to dispose of particular virtues, in the main being honest. Cheating or lying isn't trendy among presidents. Menacing example is Bill Clinton and his cheating to everybody and every time whiles the affair of his adultery. His unpopularity was bigger than the one of George Bush currently is and that's shattering. Politics experts claim that another important thing, when somebody wants to run for U.S. president, is being religious. One would say it is weird in such a country where there aren't any common roots, culture or worship that all inhabitants would share. However, it is true. Therefore it is crucial to belong to a church or at least to worship somebody or something. The subject of worshiping isn't important to Americans anymore. On the other hand, aspects of each election are different from year to year. Currently, one of the trends is to attack opponents as much as possible. Romney began with TV commercials against McCain. Although the political issues are vital, the nation doesn't want to listen to long-lasting statements of candidates. Today the important thing is personal appearance and the way one looks or at least appears to the others. Hillary Clinton, for instance, has been reproached for being too little emotional and for lacking on laughter. The most essential issues in election of U.S. president are still war in Iraq or improving the healthcare system. But folks aren't satisfied only with the best solution programs. They need more, and among Americans more means personality. President must be a strong person with the ability to influence masses.
