The American airlines are in the loss by kristina leskova

It is the summertime and many people travel on holiday. It does not matter if you travel on holiday or on a business trip, because the easiest way how to travel and also the fastest is the airline transport. Many people like to travel by a plane because it is very comfortable and the airline companies travel to many destinations. Some people are afraid of flying and they prefer another means of transport. But imagine that you are travelling from London to Athens. What do you think is the best way how to come to the Athens? Yes, by the plane, because it is simple, not so expensive and you save lot of your time. But the prices of airtickets are increasing in the last days. What is the reason? The fuel costs are still higher and higher and three American airlines reported losses in the second quarter as the price of fuel has sharply increased.
First of them is UAL Corporation with loss in the amount of 2.73 billion dollars, second is US Airways with the loss of 567 million dollars and third is JetBlue with the loss 7 million dollars. These losses led to increasing the prices of tickets, imposing a fee for checking bag and the corporations will decrease the number of flights.
We can expect more reductions next year. Because the situation with the price of fuel will be worse, that means higher than today. And higher costs will certainly show in the prices which we will pay for the airtickets. The airline corporations would like to decrease their loss but this always feel the wallet of the passenger.
