Space tourism? No problem
by Barbora Misakova

Endless space. The King of all miracles in the world. The Queen of all human desires. Space where "planets and comets with tails blazing, all are there forever falling" was always catching our attention. Doesn't matter when and where, during long centuries people were fascinated by this gift of mother Nature. That's no surprise that people were thinking how to reach that. How to get to the stars, how to touch them. The sky was too important to ignore it. It was much more beautiful not to think, rave, sing about it. But only when the first man reached the space, only then it was a real success. And from that time, from the time when a first man had such an opportunity to fly so high, where the angels sleep, people are watching with big care and interest all space flights. And I would bet there is enough of them who would love to fly by their own.

But not everyone can get such a chance. You must be either lucky or rich, and sometimes even both. So if you were thinking about flying on Mars or Moon, I have to disappoint you. Space tourism is still just one big dream. At least so far. But not to be so pessimistic, I have to say that new signs showing on possibility of space tourism slowly occurs. These signs have also a name & White Knight Two. Even though the White Knight Two is already created, the aircraft must undergo rigorous flight tests which should start in the fall. But anyway, waiting about one year on a space ship which could carry six passengers into the space? No problem! Especially in comparison with thousands years of waiting when all human kind was longing for it. Every little step in space research and space traveling is a great leap for human kind. And White Knight Two is getting us closer to our aim again. Although we don't know for sure, if it all is going to work, we are already counting how many people could fly into space in the first year and how much would they pay for it. Virgin Galactic wants to fly 500 people for $200,000 a head in a first year. Pretty nice numbers, huh?
