Although oil price is declining these days, it is still on relatively high level. And this has caused that some companies, especially smaller carriers, still have got troubles with finances. Those bigger ones weren’t stricken so much. But those smaller have got really serious problems. So JetBlue, the low costs airways, has. This company has been in loss for quite long time so it had to do something with this situation. So last year 19 per cent fraction was purchased by German Lufthansa for almost $300 million.

But problems didn’t disappear and persist till now. So airways have to do some measures to make the financial situation better. So they introduced some special fees for their services. Now travellers can purchase seats with extra leg room. Management of JetBlue awaits the revenue of $40 million from customers buying this service. There are several other fees which should be helpful in this direction. So from now you can purchase pillow and blanket for $7 on flights lasting longer than two hours. This pair is “eco-friendly” and come in a kit with a $5 coupon to home furnishings retailer Bed Bath & Beyond.

This kit is really special and good while it blocks pesky critters like dust mites, mould spores, pollen and pet dander. So also allergists can be calm, because there shouldn’t be anything that could represent a danger for them and for their lungs or other parts of their bodies. This kit is now in usage instead of previously used recycled pillows and blankets.

This is the way how to achieve and keep money from tourists and travellers because else this company would probably bankrupt. But it seems now it will reach higher revenue thanks these measures. Also its shares rose 22 cents in midday trading. So finally, probably everything will be alright…
